Our Story
Sucre (pronounced soo-kray) Sugaring Studio is proud to bring the highest quality of sugaring hair removal to the Everett area. This business was founded with one goal in mind - to love others and help each guest look and feel their best. Our inclusive sugaring studio offers a fun yet relaxing setting for what can be a vulnerable situation. We strive to be known as a business where guests come not only for hair removal services, but a place they feel welcomed, accepted and loved on. We understand that everyone has a different reason for getting sugared and we take our time to get to know each guest and their hair removal goals and expectations.
Regardless of your service provider, you will receive the highest level of care, attention to detail, and connection. In this ever-growing field, we understand that clients have a choice on where they go and who they see for hair removal. We feel honored each time a client chooses us and we will always do our best to reaffirm the choice you made. We truly love our clients and are thankful that you're here.
Meet the Team
Jessica Lee
OWNER & SUGARIST
Jessica graduated from esthetics school in 2010 and interned at a sugaring studio in Seattle where she spent the next 7 years of her career. Work moved her and her husband to the Portland area where she continued to sugar before returning home to Snohomish County to start their family. After years of working alongside Aria at Sucre, 2023 presented the opportunity to take ownership of the business.
Jessica is a sucker for a good deal and when she isn’t sugaring at Sucre Sugaring Studio, you can find her hauling her two boys to multiple grocery stores to score a killer bargain.

Aria Jayne
FOUNDER & SUGARIST
After working in the corporate world left Aria feeling unfulfilled and unsatisfied, she decided to pursue a career in esthetics. In 2017 she was trained in sugaring hair removal and became certified with Alexandria Professional. In 2018 Aria decided to open her own sugaring studio in Everett, WA. Aria loves her family and seeing the world and when she isn't at Sucre Sugaring Studio, you can find Aria traveling with her husband and daughter.

Mariah Ojalehto
GUEST SERVICES & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Mariah started with us in January of 2022 after being a long-time client of Sucre. She does almost all of our behind-the-scenes work, from inventory and website management to social media, as well as helping with checkout and guest services!
When Mariah’s not at Sucre, you can find her out hiking, catching sunsets in the mountains with friends, and traveling. She loves coffee and anything that makes her laugh!
Sidney Hart
SUGARIST
Sidney originally graduated EVCC with her Associates Degree for elementary teaching, but soon pursued the beauty industry after realizing she’d want kids of her own some day. Her love for sugaring was sparked from the satisfaction of seeing before and afters, and noticing the unique connection built with clients. She’s always loved connecting with people and helping out in any way possible, and with this industry she has been able to help people inside and out.
Sidney has called Everett home for most of her life, and loves all things sugaring, lashing, spending time with her dogs, or researching the latest and greatest techniques and technologies.
Her favorite sugaring service is underarms because of the difference it makes to a client’s day!
Moira Spratlan
SUGARIST
Moira graduated beauty school in early 2023 after pursuing her passion for beauty and her love of helping others feel like their best self. She grew up on Camano Island, where she has Scottish Highland cows (one named Delta), a cat named Lola, and many houseplants (or plant babies, as she likes to refer to them).
When Moira’s not sugaring, you can find her out hiking or otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
Mary Willis
GUEST SERVICES
Mary started with us in 2023. Being newly retired after 40 years in corporate life, she missed engaging with customers, so working at Sucre was a natural fit. Mary has four children, five grandchildren, and an eight year old yellow lab, “Isabella”, who all provide great joy in her life. As well, Mary loves traveling the globe (Italy being her favorite), reading, gardening, and is about to get back into golf now that her new chapter in life is ahead of her.
